I currently teach college-level geology and environmental science. I teach with a difference. In utilizing the field and analytical experience that I have gained through my education and training in hydrogeology, soil science and geology I reveal to my students the practical side of these scientific disciplines.
The work that I did in graduate school involved the science of hydrogeology. Hydrogeology is the study of the occurence of water in and on the Earth's surface. While studying this branch of geology I had to do in-depth study in these disciplines: soil science, soil physics, GIS, forestry, geography, climatology and geophysics. This was in addition to the in-depth education that I received in geology.
I am also very knowledgeable of geometry and physics. I am very good at applying math to real-world situations using algebra and calculus.
As a side note I am also a musician. I have been playing music most of my life: I love playing guitar!
I know that I have the background knowledge and experience to help you achieve success in your classwork. I'd love to hear from you!
