Hi! My name is Devon, I'm a student at UGA, and I'm looking to tutor students in math or science. My areas of expertise in math are geometry, pre-algebra, algebra I/II, pre-calculus, and some beginner's calculus. As far as science goes, I love anatomy and physiology, chemistry, physical science, and biology! My SAT Math subject test score was 700, and I got a 31 on the ACT.
I was a peer tutor in high school, and tutored in Algebra I. I try to explain concepts so that the student isn't just plugging in numbers or memorizing facts, but understanding the material!
