We all strive for success in something; I can help you achieve that. I am a 4th year at the University of Georgia, and I have attended UGA for my whole college career. Math has always been my favorite subject, maybe because it has always clicked for me, but I also enjoy a challenging math problem and do Sudoku every morning to keep my brain sharp. I took Calculus at UGA and received an A.
Last Spring I studied abroad for 3 months in Valencia, Spain. I took all Spanish classes, which were taught by University of Valencia professors, who did not utter one word of English during all my time there. This fact, along with living in a dorm with Spanish students, allowed me to advance my Spanish speaking and reading skills. I have received great grades in Spanish throughout high school and college, and keep in touch with my Spanish speaking friends from here and abroad to keep my skills sharp. I also play in a Sunday league in a team in which everyone speaks Spanish. The coach even speaks to us in Spanish, so I am forced to get better all the time. I am an International Business Major with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Spanish.
I also play on the UGA club soccer team, and this past season I was the leading goal scorer for my team. We made it to the regional finals, losing to UNC 1-0. I hit the post when the game was 0-0. This performance led us to be invited to the National Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. This was a great experience that I will never forget. I have ambitions to try and become a professional soccer player after I receive my degree from UGA. I know a great deal about the fundamentals of soccer, including skills, fitness, nutrition, and the mental side.
