I'm an experienced, trained business professional and have studied and applied principles of economics and finance throughout my career. I graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics. I later received an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago, which The Economist magazine ranks as the top MBA program in the world.
I've held several senior business positions, including: partner in an international consulting firm specializing in strategy and performance improvement for companies in the healthcare and health insurance industries; VP Business Development for a national healthcare company, focusing on market strategy and mergers and acquisitions; and a commercial lending officer for a regional bank. I now have an eLearning company that develops and markets online compliance courses for the corporate market. I also tutor because I want to help students understand economics, finance and business.
