I have over 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and understand the day-to-day work flow in managing an accounting department. I also currently teach several courses in accounting including Accounting I and II, Computerized Accounting, MS-Excel Spreadsheet Fundamentals and Advanced Spreadsheet(Excel), Payroll Accounting, Principles of Fraud Examination to name a few. I am currently an adjunct accounting instructor at one of the technical colleges operated by the State of Georgia in the Atlanta metro area.

I love accounting and like seeing the light bulb come on when teaching a student. I think everyone learns differently and I try to hone in on the best approach to teach each student. I am also a Certified Public Accountant currently licensed in both Georgia and Virginia.

Microsoft Excel

I can tutor the basics in Excel such as creating and saving a worksheet/workbook along with formatting cells, inputting formulas, enhancing the display of workbooks; and also other intermediate and more advanced topics such as advanced formatting, formulas and data management, protecting and sharing workbooks and working with tables and data features. Also procedures in summarizing and consolidating data using Pivot Tables/Charts.

Accounting

I can tutor basic and advanced accounting topic that include debits/credits and recording business transactions, including sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, Cash control and business equity accounts. Also, can tutor to prepare the cash flow statement along with the balance sheet and income statement. I can basically tutor anything in beginning, intermediate and advanced accounting.

QuickBooks

QuickBooks Pro would be the type of software to learn the basics regarding QuickBooks. Most small business in the US use QuickBooks software. I already have the QuickBooks certification for Pro, Enterprise and Point of Sale. I can tutor you in any of these specific software. I can tutor many aspects of QuickBooks including set-up and entering transactions.

Tax Preparation

I have prepared individual incomes taxes for the past 20 years. I am also an accountant and CPA and can teach the basics regarding income tax preparation.
