I have close to 30 years working with people with different challenges. I have never given up on any student, but I am not a drill seargent. I am flexible to be able reach the student's needs. If what I thought would work doesn't, I will look for another way to get that point across so the student understands the concept. There are many ways to reach a student, and the art is to find the one that works; that is the job of the tutor. This is what tutoring is all about: getting the student to understand the concepts being taught.
