Steven is an excellent tutor and has been the best investment we have made to help our son with his math class - precalculus. My son came to Steven ready to give up and frustrated, after one session with Steven my son learned more about the subject than he had learned in the classroom. My son was stressing over a quiz, well after that session with Steven he passed that quiz and had confidence! My son said he broke the problems down to where he could understand! My son will continue to work Steven, he is an asset to my son education.

We've only had one session so far, but we are getting on a regular schedule. I am not sure exactly how but in one hour my son's confidence level in his math skills skyrocketed. Steven was able to take a few concepts that he was struggling with and make them so easy to understand the my son was laughing at how easy it was.
I am not a big review guy - but Steven is already worth every penny - I am buying a package today!
Update:
It's been a few months now and my son's confidence in his math skills continues to grow. I just received a text from school after his last math test, "We just finished the test and Steven is a psychic. She just showed me my score and I got 100%... and I got a recommendation from the school to take AP classes next year because of my PSAT scores". I am not saying Steven did it all but he deserves a ton of credit. Thank you Steven.

Steven is fabulous with Ryan. Steven comes Friday at 4 after a long week of school and Ryan never complains. He looks forward to Steven coming over because he learns so much which makes him feel more confident in class! Steven is very patient and encouraging!

How do you even begin to look for someone to tutor your child in a subject that he/she might need extra help? Perhaps I just lucked out however we could not be more pleased with Steven and his tutoring of our son for 8th grade spanish.
He learns more during that occasional hour with Steven than weeks in class. I have primarily used Steven to prepare my son for tests, and he always does great.
Like many parents we thought that we could help our son prepare however, the difference between our study session with our son and Stevens is night and day. Typically our study session turns into a dreaded a argument which does not benefit anyone.
I told my wife, "What do we have to lose?" We are both extremely happy we found Steven.

Steven is an Excellent Teacher! My son's 1st semester for 6th grade Math was a struggle. The start of 2nd semester was even worst. He was not passing any graded classwork, quizzes or test. I knew we needed a tutor quick and someone who was experienced, smart, patient, and kind. We found that person in Steven. My first encounter with Steven was very pleasant and he understood the urgency of preparing my son for the Math reassessment which he scored 48% on the initial test. With a few days to prepare, Steven was able to fit my son in his tutoring schedule at the last minute. When I received an email from my son's Math teacher, we were very pleased to know that he scored a 92% on his Math reassessment! I asked my son what does he likes best about working with Steven. He said, "Mr. Steven knows how to break things down so it is easy to understand." I am more than pleased for having Steven as my son's tutor. He is "a keeper". My son's confidence level has increased in Math and I thank Steven for this!
