NEW STUDENTS: Please be aware that I do not tutor on Saturday or Sunday.
You're probably trying to find a tutor who stands out from the rest. You're looking for someone who knows what she's teaching.
In high school Abigail earned the National Merit scholarship through her exemplary SAT scores. She then went on to graduate from the Georgia Tech with a degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Economics. She went through college at an accelerated pace of 3 years instead of 4.
She was a HOPE scholar all the way through her college career.
She's been tutoring for over 5 years in many different environments that include one-on-one tutoring in-person and online, as well as tutoring in a group environment. She can adapt to many learning styles. Not all students learn alike, and sometimes creativity is the key!
She has taught over 100 students in the past four years!
Abigail was recently the Tutor of the Month for another tutoring website!
"I just wanted to thank you, I got an 86 on my final, roughly 20 points above our class average, and was able to maintain my grade. I couldn't have done it without you. Thanks so much!" - 11th grade Precalculus Student
"Abigail explains things clearly so that I would understand. She makes jokes to help me learn things... In total, Abigail and I are like two peas in a pod!" - 10th grade Writing Student
"Wow! I just enjoyed almost 3 hours of learning algebra! Yes, enjoyed! I feel more confident about my midterm after my tutoring session. So with lots of chocolates and mints, tomorrow I will pass my midterm!!! Thanks to the greatest tutor ever, Abigail!!!!" - Returning to College Algebra Student
"Abigail really knows her stuff. I can't say enough great things about her. She always makes herself available and has infinite patience and knowledge in Math. She explains things in a way that a non mathematically inclined person can understand. She is very intuitive to what I am having trouble grasping and what I need more help with. She is really my one weapon in my arsenal I couldn't do without. I wouldn't have passed calculus without her! I plan on using her for Calculus II and Calculus III as well and am not nearly as anxiety ridden about it as I was before I met her." - Calculus I Student
If the above sounds like somebody you want to learn from, just let her know! She offers in-person tutoring at a local bookstore in Alpharetta, as well as online. She is not currently able to travel to other locations.
