Hi, I'm Mrs. C! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am married to Mr. C and we and we have an adorable puppy named Alice. We have been married since April of 2011 and recently moved to the Adairsville area. We are loving it here so far! I went to college at the University of West Georgia where I obtained my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I have been substituting at local schools since I graduated and am currently looking for part time tutoring positions.
I would like to share my teaching philosophy with you. I believe that all students can learn, just in different ways. Some students learn best with very little interaction with the teacher while others need full time, one on one, attention from him/her, As a teacher, I feel that I am a facilitator of learning. I am there to supply assistance to my students and to encourage them to think for themselves. I want my students to be able to find different solutions to a problem and not just rely on one specific avenue completing a task.
In tutoring, I believe that I am still a facilitator of learning but I am there to supply the student(s) with the assistance that he/she needs. I will help your child to get to the point where he/she can look at a problem and figure out many different ways to solve it. No matter what subject we are working on, I am confident that I can help your child improve his/her skills!
