Hi! I am a Sophomore Marketing major this year. Math, History, and English have always been my favorite subjects. I would love the opportunity to help you or your child to understand these subjects better; I also hope that understanding these subjects will help you or your child begin to enjoy the subject of study.

I tutored in small amounts during high school, to students from ages of elementary school to high school. I think that it is important to have the help that you need for subjects in which you are not necessarily comfortable, and to get that help as soon as possible. I also would love to help you or your child if you/they would like to move ahead of the material being taught at the moment!

The hourly price is listed, however, depending on groups, amount of scheduled sessions and other factors could change the cost!

In high school, I took honors math classes up until my Senior year; this included Honors Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Geometry and Pre-Calculus. I also took College Algebra my Senior year, along with Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry.

Geography

I have taken World Geography as a Junior in high school. I have continued to take other history and science classes that have developed from the material that I learned in that particular class.

I have tutored students in this class before, focusing on allowing the material to sink in and the test/quiz material involved.

English

English may be my favorite subject. I enjoy writing papers, reading books and analyzing different material! I received a scholarship my Freshman year of college for a paper I wrote.

The fundamentals of English can be established as early as elementary school. I do believe that I could help a high school English student learn to analyze the material they are reading better, and also teach them to develop papers with a higher caliber over time.

Elementary Math

One of the easiest subjects to fall behind in is math! I took honors math courses all throughout high school, along with two math courses my Senior year. I have also taken two math courses while in college.

I know that it is important for your child to grasp these concepts early on, so that in the future, the transition to more difficult material will be smooth.

I hope to target the problem areas, while allowing him/her to enjoy the subject more.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have recently been certified for most of the general subjects for tutoring on Wyzant. I have always loved children and have much experience with tutoring. I like to focus on the trouble areas while trying to allow your child to enjoy the subject and find reasons to at least like it. My personal favorite subjects are math, English, and history.

Ballet

I have been classically trained since the age of three, starting with ballet and tap. Since then, I have taken jazz, hip-hop, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, gymnastics and of course, ballet and tap. I taught gymnastics for a year during high school. I love dancing, and I would love the opportunity to extend that to your child.

Social Studies

I took AP History in high school and also completed all four history classes in high school with high A's. In college, I have maintained A's in all history courses that I have taken thus far.
