As a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Interior Design, I am looking forward to incorporating my design skills as a tutor; particularly space planning, detailing, FF&E, and presentation graphics.
Over the past four years, I have become highly proficient in AutoCAD Architecture, 3-D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. From July of 2010 to September 2011, I had the pleasure of working in the Art Institute of Atlanta’s Interior Design Department as a Student Assistant tutoring in Autodesk, AutoCAD Architecture, and 3-D Studio Max, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop. I am known for my reliability, punctuality and giving generously of my time. My academic advisor/employer wrote, “The faculty often relied upon him to help the students keep up and complete their projects on time.” (See Linked In recommendation)
My professional experience consist of working at Design Environments Inc. (11/11 to present) has increased my knowledge of how presentations, construction documents, and specifications are created in real world. The projects I have worked on as a C.A.D. designer for D.E. I. in the residential and commercial forms include homes, apartments, club houses, and night clubs. Through my internship at Masterpiece Rugs (3/09 to 7/09), I was able to gain valuable information into the administrative aspect of trade sales. At Stone Age Design (7/09 to 9/09), I catalogued and organized drawings as well as completed field verification of drawings.
