When I was in school, I had no idea which end was up. So, I knew what it felt like to receive a failed test back, as well as the overwhelming feeling of devastation, when I had to face my parents and teachers.
The materials the schools use, the methods they incorporate, and the teacher's attitudes can all take their toll on a student's ability to learn. Add a few nerves to the mix and you can clearly see how things can get out of hand.
That's why my students are taught to approach problems in a different manner. Due to the things I saw in the school system, I chose to create my own methods, so I can help students learn quickly. Students that study with me, not only end up with a complete comprehension of the material, but with the confidence they need to do the work, themselves.
Everything is done methodically. The work is broken down in such a manner that anyone's brain can take in the information, easily. It all falls into place and makes logical sense, because I connect one's lessons to their real day-to-day life.
When students come to me, they all tell me the same thing, "The methods and formulas blend together; I don't know when to use this or that." When their lessons are complete, they never question it again.
I've been in the tutoring field for almost 30 years, and I've logged over 2700 hours during the past year alone. That's approximately 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thus, I have a lot of experience in getting students to 'understand'.
I guarantee to each of you, the following: You will learn things you never did before, and even better, you will not have to memorize a bunch of formulas. I will determine your weak points without giving you a test because I know the correct questions to ask, and I will make sure you are confident of all the material. Oh, you'll also have fun working on it. You see, when I walk into a student's home, I do so with a smile on my face and a sense of humor.
Learning anything can be easy! The trick is how you're taught it.
