I will help you to learn Math and Physics. Math and Physics are my passion. I took my first high school physics test when I was 8 years old. My earliest memories of gifts from my high school physics teaching dad were a telescope, microscope, electronics set, and a chemistry set. I work mathematics problems in number theory for fun. I love learning, the learning process, and helping others to learn. My family is filled with teachers and we thoroughly enjoy teaching. I have worked for 27 years with NASA and industry as a physicist, engineer, mathematician, software developer, and teacher. I have even taught astronauts and prepared Payload Crew Activity Plans which have flown on the Space Shuttle and been used by Space Shuttle Mission and Payload Specialists.
I have raised a son and daughter who both credit me with their success in math and science. They both have Master's degrees - My daughter has a Master's degree in Accounting and has been the Chief Financial Officer of a medical group. - My son is successful in the Information Technology field with a Master's in Information Technology. I have tutored math and physics over the full range of our education systems from the elementary school to the college level.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have tutored a nephew and niece (my wife and I obtained legal custody of them) in their elementary school work. The nephew now has a Master's in Management Information Systems. The niece has a Master's in Accounting. Both are employed and highly successful; and attribute a lot of their early school success to me helping them.

I have taught Astronomy to elementary school children through a college. I have taught classes of elementary students in various math and science topics as a guest teacher through the elementary school where my wife was a teacher. I have tutored junior high school children in math through an engineering outreach program with a former employer. I have tutored the young children of multiple friends, neighbors, and relatives. My wife was a 2nd grade teacher for 25 years; and together we developed strategies for enhancing the learning of her most challenging students. I am very familiar with strategies and techniques for working with young children with learning disabilities.

Physics

I have a 4 year college degree in Physics. I have taught Physics to both college and high school level students. My father was a high school Physics teacher. I have worked with NASA Mission Specialists and Mission Scientists. I enjoy teaching and learning science.
