Salve! My name is Daniele, I am Italian and I have been living in Tampa since 2004. I am a professional chemistry researcher with a focus on organic and medicinal chemistry. Beyond my PhD in organic chemistry, I have a decade-long laboratory research experience. I can deliver ad hoc tutoring for anyone who is interested in chemistry research. Also I have a passion for languages and I particularly enjoy tutoring Italian. From basic expressions and grammar through Italian literature I am available for tutoring all levels of students.

In order to explain complex science concepts, I take daily-life examples which can be understood and memorized easily. Of course I follow the same method when tutoring Italian. This is most natural when it comes to cuisine and fashion, but it works just as well for several other conversation topics. My tutorials are engaging and effective instructional activities, and are based on an inquiry approach. I believe that curiosity is a key feature to learning and understanding. This is why I foster curiosity and I always encourage my students to take an interactive role at all time during the tutorials.

I hope all the future students will enjoy learning and organizing their knowledge with me!

Excellent Chemistry Tutor — I really appreciated Daniele's teaching ability and professionalism. He brought to his lessons love for the subject matter (in my case, Analytical Chemistry), excellent teaching skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of Chemistry. Daniele was able to spot any weak areas, and he helped me comprehend new concepts quickly. He knows how to break things down to make them easy to understand, and I felt m ...
