I hold a Master's in Religious Studies and teach religion courses at the college level. I have also studied Bible at Florida Southern College and Emory University, Candler School of Theology. I was employed as Director of Adult Ministries for a United Methodist Church for 5 years, teaching scholarly Bible studies to adults.
Previously employed as a human resources manager for Fortune 500 companies for 12 years, I was responsible for career and management development and training for employees at all levels. Former employers included International Paper Company and Johnson & Johnson. Also provided career counseling and training for women returning to work through a non-profit agency for 3 years, and for both men and women as a private consultant for 5 years. Currently directing a Find Your Purpose group.
As a college professor since 1997, I know what colleges are looking for and how to help students gain acceptance to the school of their choice. I understand student/teacher/administration problems and how to solve them. And I can help students (and parents) choose the college that will be the best fit for a particular student.

While employed as an HR manager, I also served as Community Relations and Communications Manager. In these professional capacities, I spoke on behalf of the corporation to persuade, to motivate, to educate, train and inform vice presidents, managers, professional and other employees, political figures, business people and other members of the community.
Professor of World Religions at St. Pete College and online for Broward College Ecuador, I hold a Master's in Religious Studies with additional study in Christianity, Bible, Buddhism, indigenous religions, and Sufism. I also served as a Hospice Chaplain for 2 years, and Director of Adult Ministries for 5 years for a United Methodist church.
I hold a BA in Sociology and Social Welfare from University of West Florida, where I graduated with honors. Last year I also took a graduate course in Methods of Social Research from the University of West Florida. I am ready to help you with this subject!
