I have been a third grade general education teacher and a special education teacher for grades one through five, with experience writing Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and analyzing psycho-educational testing to determine special education eligibility. As a professional elementary school teacher and substitute teacher, I have over ten years of professional experience with students from diverse populations of all cultures and economic levels. I have a B.S. in Liberal Studies with Business Management, Computer Science, and Philosophy concentrations. I also have an A.S. in Computer Information Systems from Holyoke Community College.

I am an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented administrative management and teaching professional with advanced computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power point, and Access. Throughout my employment history I have demonstrated superior customer service aptitude and adeptness; exceptional interpersonal relations including phenomenal communication savvy; and an effective, efficient ability to adapt to a diverse, ever-changing environment.

I taught 3rd grade at Weatherbee Elementary School. I substitute taught all grade levels, including elementary for over 10 years for the Gateway Regional School District.

With the tax deadline fast approaching, I am here to assist any last-minute, anxious people in the use of free online tax software to complete their taxes accurately and efficiently. I can also assist with completing the old-fashioned paper and pencil forms. Although I cannot provide tax advice, I can assist with basic calculations and explain the sometimes complicated instructions.

I utilize proven phonics techniques as well innovative and engaging applications to aide in the learning and retention of both school assigned spelling words and SAT word lists. Pattern recognition, frequent exposure, and use of new spelling words is key to mastery.
