I obtained my B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) from Florida Atlantic University and I hold a Master's degree in TESOL / Bilingual Education. I have taught ESOL and Spanish for several prestigious language
schools both in Venezuela and the United States, and have also worked as a Reading, Language Arts
, and Special Education teacher for Broward County Public Schools. I have worked as Adjunct Faculty in College of Education at Florida Atlantic University and previously at Broward College. I am fluent in English

. I hold FLDOE certifications in ESOL, Reading, ESE, and Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum. I am also committed to making a difference in the community and have volunteered for several non-profit organizations in Broward County. In 2002, I was distinguished as Clinical Outreach Volunteer of the Year by Women in Distress.
