I have worked for news stations, on short-films, as a freelance videographer/editor and I have run every aspect of an educational television station from videographer to producer. I recently attained an MS in Instructional Technology from The New York Institute of Technology.
My background in film and media has afforded me many exciting opportunities, like working for a major local news company and conglomerate international RAI Uno. While there I covered the Republican National Convention, and I was present for many breaking news stories in and around Westchester County, NY, while freelancing for news 12.
I also posses extensive experience in cinematography/videography utilizing digital and film media. I am qualified in both analog and digital editing technology utilizing Final Cut Pro, Avid Premiere Pro, Adobe CS6 Suite, Adobe After Effects and DVD authoring software. I have a background in lighting and sound recording for film and television production. I am also very knowledgeable in television studio audio/video switching and scheduling.
I recently developed the skills necessary for developing modular internet-based courses in multiple subject areas utilizing Moodle, Blackboard, Wiki Pages and TeacherPage. I am also experienced in creating student-centered digital units and lesson plans for numerous subject areas.
In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I can also provide you with web-based lessons that you can refer to after our sessions.
