I am an Florida registered architect since 1987, and an adjunct professor for Revit at the local college since 2009. Revit is a impressive computer program that creates buildings in vitual reality. It is best taught as 'hands-on' in small classes. My students usually can do the basics after about 8 hours. From there, the student can take it as far as they want to go. There is not really a limit to this program.
I teach this program pointing to your computer monitor, showing what each of the command buttons can do. But I also have a prepared lesson with a 'help-sheet' that the student can go back to if they need a reminder. These sheets also have web links to show more detail of the commands as well as short videos.
You will find this program as fun to use as I do.
