With a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, and having taught courses from University of California and Brevard Community College and solid teaching experience, I feel confident about the skills and knowledge I can bring to your school and its students. I plan to use my real world experience in bringing the field of mathematics to life in a manner that will make learning both enjoyable and effective.
I have had the opportunity to teach students below, on, and above the grade level and I have been successful in accommodating students with diverse needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualized instruction and extracurricular support.
I encourage learning by using hands on tasks, games, music, real life situations and various forms of technology. I also incorporate cooperative learning and the buddy system to boost the self confidence and self stem of the students. I use weekly quizzes and monthly tests to evaluate student’s progress, to check weakness areas.
