I absolutely love science! In fact, I love it so much that I double majored in Marine Biology and Chemistry in college and recently graduated with my Master's degree in Marine Sciences. While in graduate school, I participated in a National Science Foundation GK-12 Fellowship program where I was taught how to communicate science in an easy and fun way for students in all walks of life. While I worked primarily at the high school level teaching biology and chemistry twice a week, I did occasionally work in middle school or elementary school classes making science lessons fun and relevant for students. A large part of my job also consisted of coming up with new ways to teach material, so I am very flexible in my explanations of concepts.
I specialize in teaching general biology and chemistry, but I have experience in other branches of science as well including ecology, zoology and psychology. As a professional research scientist, I am also experienced in scientific writing so I can also provide assistance with lab report writing.
