I have a college in Elementary Education from Russell Sage College, NY. I am a certified elementary school (K-6) teacher in FL. I can assist homeschooling families with lesson preparation, tutoring, portfolio management and yearly evaluations.

Phonics

I have completed several reading inservice programs, including the FOR-PD Reading Certification. In addition, I have completed training as an English Language Literacy Tutor for the Adult Literacy League. I have experience teaching kindergarten reading programs, as well.

Study Skills

I have experience with teaching and using thinking maps in the public schools, and also with creating Mind Maps® (hand-drawn and computer generated) to aid in organizing and remembering information.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
