I have a heavy curriculum in Mathematics from a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering. Having helped friends and families in their deficiencies in Mathematics, I can tell you that I know how to help the students to pass their tests. Since 1981 I have been involved in direct sales. The experience gained training new salesmen can be applied in tutoring students with their math. Actually I work as an 8th grade Math teacher at West View Middle School, Miami, FL.

My native language is Spanish. For those students that need some help with reading, I can help them too, in English and in Spanish.

Algebra 1

I am graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, in Dominican Republic as a bachelor in Chemical Engineering. To graduate from this career, we have to pass 3 levels of Algebra, 2 levels of Calculus, 2 levels of Differential Equations, and different subjects that we have to apply all of this Mathematics knowledge.

I feel prepared to help any person that needs tutoring in this field.

Algebra 2

I am graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic. I got a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. In this career we have to pass several levels of Mathematics, as Algebra I and II, Calculus I and II, Differential Equations I and II, and applications in other subjects that are directly related with mathematics.

I really enjoy teaching children.

Prealgebra

I can work with your child in pre-Algebra to be able to go easily to take the grade when he (she) start the new level, or if he (she) failed to pass the test I can help to go ahead and reach the next level.

Spanish

The Spanish language is my native language. I come from Dominican Republic where everybody speaks Spanish. I graduated as a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo. For graduating you have to pass different levels of Spanish grammar. I speak perfect Spanish, and I would teach your child the basics for speaking it and writing the language.

English

For English language, I have been studying this language since 1979, where I started in the Dominico-American Institute; then, I continue studying at the Teacher's College of Columbia University for a couple of years. After that, I have been involved in different activities in which you have to have proficiency in English.

Elementary Math

I am graduated from the Univesidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo with a bachelor degree in chemical engineering. Actually, I am an 8th grade math teacher at West View Middle School.

My dedication to the children is very special, I make questions to find how well they know. If they don't know how to solve the problem, I explain it in a different way until they find it easy. Then, I apply this new way for them to do it easily and comfortably.

Elementary (K-6th)

I took the general knowledge test and I have passed the four sub-areas (essay, language skills, reading and mathematics).

I have been approved with the statement of eligibility to teach in Elementary Education and Mathematics, Middle School (5 - 9) levels.
