My teaching experience and qualifications include being an adjunct professor in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Electronics and Modeling & Simulation. I am also certified by the Florida Department of Education (DOE) as a teacher for Mathematics and Physics grades 6 through 12 and have worked as a high school math teacher.

I hold degrees in Ocean and Electrical Engineering (BS & MS) as well as a PhD in mathematical Modeling & Simulation. I am also a certified flight instructor and have previous experience in sports instruction.

My approach to teaching is to try to help the student see the underlying concepts or the "big picture" rather than burying them in the details. Once the overall principles are understood, the details become a lot easier to grasp and remember. While I can tutor a wide range of mathematical subjects (algebra through all the engineering mathematics) as well as engineering courses, I pay particular attention to the more fundamental courses as they build a foundation that make the more advanced courses a lot easier.

I am also able to tutor the math preparation for any of the scholastic aptitude tests such as the PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, ASVAB.

I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy but in the case of emergencies offer an option to reschedule.
