My name is Gregory. I am a graduate from Moscow State University, major in mathematics. I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics. I have an extensive experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics at the high school and college levels in Russia and the United States

From 2000-2002, I was a tutor who provided individual tutoring and consultations for a group of 5-10 students. From 2008-2009, I was part of a professional tutoring group and tutored one high school student and was an instructor lecturing and tutoring two groups of 25 students each. I've also served as an Assistant Professor, lecturing and tutoring two groups of 25-30 students each.

I like to teach math in a way that makes everything seem transparent and simple, to explain the subject under consideration from different points of view. Students start to love mathematics, because we love what we understand.

Geometry

The Geometry course includes analysis of plane, solid, and coordinate geometry. Topics include segments, triangles, parallel lines, polygons, perimeter, area, volume and surface area analysis, similarity and congruence, trigonometry and analytic geometry. Emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking and problems solving skills.
