I'm considered to be a huge math dork, but what can I say I love it. My goal is to get a Masters in mathematics, but currently I'm working on getting a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. As of August 2012 I have been math tutoring for St. John's River State College Orange Park campus. I tutor anywhere from prealgebra all the way up to differential equations, but each semester I will be able to add to the list of what I can tutor. I'm pretty flexible with tutoring slots (some weekdays, weeknights, and weekend times available).
I hope to take those who despise math into having a tolerable relationship with math so they can pass their class with flying colors! My methods of tutoring vary for each student. I don't mind working out a ton of problems step-by-step for one to understand concepts or spending hours lecturing, but I'm not here to do homework. Homework may be a small percentage of a grade but without all the practice how can one pass in class exams?
