I am an experienced tutor in high school and college-level Math and Science courses, particularly in the areas of General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Calculus and Statistics. I am also able to tutor for standardized exams including the ACT, SAT Reasoning Test, SAT Math and Science Subject Tests, and the MCAT.

I am also a current medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and recent graduate of Emory University with a B.S. in Chemistry and Economics. I graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors with a cumulative 3.9 GPA.

While at Emory University, I tutored for 3 years and over 700 hours in Math and Science courses for Emory University's student tutoring service known as EPASS. I have also worked as a private tutor, both freelance and for online tutoring companies, since I was in high school. I am a certified tutor with the Association for the Tutoring Professionals (ATP).

For every session, I will prepare in advance of the session with any information I am provided, and will closely go over any problems the student is having in order to both provide the student with high quality answers as well as a long-lasting learning experience.

I believe that tutoring should serve the student's benefit in both the short-run and long-run. In the short run, I make sure the student has his or her specific question answered thoroughly and the specific concept learned. I also teach students to be independent thinkers so that in the long run they are trained to apply a logical problem-solving approach to a wide variety of academic situations and have a fluent understanding of the subject they are learning.
