I have taught diverse disciplines in science and language arts in private and public educational institutions, in the following settings: language schools (Berlitz & FMU), middle and secondary schools, college, and university. I am a biologist (Fairfield University – BS), and I have attended 4 years of medical school (University of Madrid and University of San Pablo/Barcelona).
While living in Brazil (12 years) I studied business administration and attended a variety of graduate seminars at the Center of Research of San Carlos/University of Sao Paulo referenced to alternative fuels, alcohol chemistry, and ecological preservation of the Amazon Rain Forest and Wet Lands (Pantanal) in Mato Grosso (Julio Campos Foundation). I studied at Nova Southeastern University (Graduate courses: Masters – ESOL), and University Ibero Americana in Mexico (Spanish courses).
I am fluent in 3 languages - Spanish, English, and Portuguese – and teach all levels of language courses, immersion courses, and all ages. I use traditional teaching methodologies and my own which permit for an immediate understanding of the target language. I also teach English language courses for businessmen/women.
I teach the following science courses: basic science, biology, anatomy, and physiology.
