I honestly believe that I can help anyone understand mathematics by demystifying it, leaving no questions unanswered and no concepts misunderstood from the most basic level of "what is a number?" Notice that I did not say that I can help you "get the right answer" which is a service offered by most tutors. Most of the people that I tutor remark "I actually understand what's going on now" or "I didn't realize it was so simple!"
What qualifies me to tutor mathematics, outside of my expert knowledge of the field and its history, are my natural abilities to both communicate effectively with students of all ages and to share my passion for the ideas of mathematics (most people have never met somebody who likes math as much as I, or so they tell me). I was the president of the very active FIU Math Club and have attracted dozens of new students to change their major to math. I will be beginning my Ph.D. in Mathematics at University of Notre Dame this fall.
So please, let me share with you the secret world of mathematics and open your eyes to the eternal truth and beauty of the patterns we discover!

My work experience includes being a College Algebra Computer Lab Assistant from 2010-2012.
I've worked between 10-40 hours a week in this position over the two years helping freshmen college algebra students at FIU in a computer-integrated laboratory. This gave me experience tutoring several hundreds of students.
I was also a Learning Assistant from 2009-2013. I tutor students in Intermediate Algebra, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Linear Algebra, Introduction to Advanced Math.
