My name is Matthew G. and I am currently available to tutor anyone in the fields of History, International Relations, Political Science, Spanish and Latin America. I have an educational/work background in all these fields. I studied Political Science/Latin America Relations in college as a undergraduate, while my graduate studies where in Latin American Studies (focus in International Relations/Political Science). I have also taught the last five years as a instructor of History of Latin America and Cultural Diversity (Sociology/Political Science) in both English and Spanish. Along with my educational/work background, I have also spent numerous times throughout Latin America as a student/visitor, which is another important issue as I believe that if a person wishes to be taught in study areas, both knowledge and experience work hand-in-hand.
As an instructor, I believe in the two-way street formula. I will instruct the student in the topics in which they require tutoring. However, it is the job of the student to make sure they pay attention, make notes, and finish the homework that is required of them. When both of us are prepared and ready for the class, it is a more fulfilling experience.
