PLEASE NOTE, I AM CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR SUMMER 2013. I WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FALL 2013.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and a Masters Degree in Medical Science from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. I have been accepted to start Medical School this fall. My schedule is currently very flexible.
I am primarily interested in the sciences but I am happy to help in a variety of subjects. I have tutored students both independently and through institutions for many years. I am well aware that the same study methods don’t work for all students and I have a variety of methods that I’m happy to teach, I will keep trying until we find the best method for you. I have worked with students of all ages, from nannying toddlers and helping them study ahead of their grade level, and working with struggling jr. high/ high school students, to college students and even adults. I lived in Japan for 2 years and taught private lessons and small group classes where I formulated the curriculum, activities, quizzes and take home assignments. The classes were not only educational and challenging, but they were fun too.
I know how challenging school can be. I have been there and I have survived and succeeded, and I’d love to help you get there too. I can help any age student with study skills and can help develop effective study plans and schedules to help you ace your exams. I have a variety of college level textbooks as well as textbooks for the MCAT from those top tier private companies.
I look forward to working with you towards a brighter future!
Sincerely,
Melissa
