I've always had great ability both as a learner, and as a communicator, which led to me often tutoring friends and classmates. I like the process of discovering how to present information in a way that makes sense to each person individually, which to me is the most important part of teaching.
I moved to Miami a year ago, and am working towards my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I'm currently finishing my second year at Miami Dade College, where I've achieved a 4.0 GPA thus far, with a schedule that has recently included calculus, statistics, and a range of other courses. If all goes according to plan, I'll be transferring to Florida International in the Fall, and finishing my Bachelor's there. I've found that being a full-time student has left me in a situation where it is slightly difficult to meet my financial obligations, and have been looking for a way to supplement my income.
I've always enjoyed, and been told that I have a natural talent for teaching. Many of my friends and family have suggested that I tap into that talent, and become a tutor. So, here I am!
I have experience coaching youth basketball and baseball, and feel comfortable working with all types of students. I'm motivated, hard-working, easy to get along with, and thoroughly looking forward to the opportunity to teach.
