Welcome to my profile, and thank you for your interest!
My name is Amanda, and I am currently a student at Florida International University, where I am working towards my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavior Analysis and a minor in Speech-Language Pathology. I truly have a passion for helping and working with children. I can work with children anywhere from elementary school through middle school. I aid students in English, language-arts, reading and writing, spelling, and all elementary subject matters. I am also bilingual I speak and write both English and Spanish, therefore I can assist your child with any ESOL material. My main goal as a tutor is to help your child excel no matter what obstacles are found on your child's pathway to success in school. I strongly believe I have the patience and perseverance it takes for your child to succeed and as a parent myself, I understand how important it is for our children to be successful in school and achieve their goals in life.
As a student myself, I know how frustrating it can be to not understand certain material or a certain subject, but regardless of the situation there is always a way out! And that is what I am here for. I believe that in order to have a successful session there has to be great communication between parent, student, and tutor therefor I prefer to go over yours and your child's concerns before even beginning a session.
