I'm currently a professor at two colleges in Miami-Dade county, having taught numerous courses in business including Marketing and Business Law. In the classroom, my techniques revolve around stressing critical thinking - making sure students can follow the concepts step-by-step so they can best learn the material. I also ensure strong feedback for all work, so students can know exactly where they're doing well and in what areas they may need to improve.

I'm also bilingual with a love of politics, an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Political Science. I've always had a deep interest for history, government, and reading. I'm qualified in multiple subjects relating to those areas, including English, Reading, and several kinds of history.

Education is a deep passion of mine and I hope to be able to pass on my expertise to you or your children.

American History

American History is one of my loves. From an early age, I've loved the stories of how America was founded and how it grew to become what it is today. Thanks to both experience and a Political Science degree, I'm more than qualified to share that love with you.

Writing

Writing is one of my passions. Whether it's a paper for college or fiction stories for fun, all the steps from beginning to end are simply a joy. Whether you need help laying out a story or putting the finishing touches on a term paper, I'm your guy!

Government & Politics

As someone who has experience both on Capitol Hill and in local government, I'm well versed in all levels from Federal to City. My qualifications go beyond experience, including and bachelors degree in Political Science.

Economics

I have taught economics before (specifically, Intro to Microeconomics), and deal with economic concepts in all of my classes. Supply and demand is as basic to what I teach as it is to our market-based society.

Business

I currently teach business classes (including Intro to Business, Marketing, and others) at the collegiate level. I also have an MBA from Florida International University and am a de facto business consultant to those around me.

Public Speaking

Having run for office before, I have a significant amount of experience writing, editing, and delivering speeches. I have also previously judged debates as well as given consults for public speaking improvements.

Macintosh

As a lifelong Mac user, I've become well-versed in the ins and outs of OS X up to the most recent, Lion, which I use at home. Whether its Spaces, Expose, or just simply adjusting to life with a different mouse, I'm here to help you understand this brave new OS!

Marketing

I currently teach marketing classes at the collegiate level. My MBA's specialization is in marketing, and it is one of my strongest areas. I have experience with basics such as SWOT Analysis and Segmentation to editing and correcting Marketing Plans.

Social Studies

I have a Bachelors degree in Political Science as well as a strong passion for Social Studies, especially history and government. I have participated on all levels of campaigns, for example, including running a candidate for Florida House of Representatives.
