As the daughter of a teacher, I have been challenged and motivated to achieve my personal best every day at school.

I work well with students of all ages and use a variety of best teaching practices including visual, auditory and kinetic learning techniques to engage students. I am employed full-time at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and work closely with the elementary and K-8 centers of the Miami-Dade County Public School District.

I was formally a student for 20 years from pre-kindergarten through my Masters in Public Health. I continue to study and learn daily.

Algebra 1

Accelerated algebra student in high school and college; completed the accelerated pre-algebra, algebra I and II courses in 8th-10th grade; continued on to AP calculus AB and higher courses in statistics at the collegiate level. I have been tutoring high school and college students in algebra for the last three years here in Miami. Students have improved by at least one full letter grade in their courses (live or online).

Elementary Math

I have 8 years' experience working with elementary age students on all subjects. I like to use interactive learning games and tools such as flash cards and Play Doh to practice learning skills and improve proficiency.
