Hi, I am a native French speaker from the Republic of Congo (Congo).
I completed my undergraduate studies with a focus in French education. I have been teaching for nine years. I started to teach in Congo, Africa as both a French and English teacher. I taught French in countries where the French is the national language (Congo, Senegal and Morocco). I also taught French and English as a second language in Mexico, in high schools, junior high schools and universities. Additionally, I tutored French and Spanish for 2 years in Mexico. As a tutor, my goal is to immerse my students in the French language to empower them to communicate orally and in writing in ways that are efficient and meaningful, this is applicable for children beginning age 6 through adults. Via my lessons I create, teach, and evaluate lessons in French grammar, literature, and pronunciation. I foster collaboration through interactive activities on projects. I develop and implement innovative and cooperative methods of instruction. I utilize practical day to day communication-driven activities to access and to instill language competency. I employ the use of music, video activities, games, theater, and student presentations to make learning fun, practical, and functional.
