In need of help in any of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects? I am a high school senior who has completed science courses including honors and AP Chemistry with a 770 on the SAT Subject test, AP Physics C (Mechanics), Honors Biology, Honors Earth/Space Science, Honors Physical Science, and Honors Computer Science (Java).

I am currently preparing myself for the AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism exam and I am enrolled in AP Computer Science. I am currently Vice President of the Science Honors Society, President of the Engineering Club, and Secretary of the Chemistry Club at my school. Additionally, I have conducted over 500 hours of research in neurology at University of Miami's Miami Project to Cure Paralysis.

In terms of math, I scored a 5 on AP Calculus AB and am currently enrolled in AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics - and excelling in these subjects. I am President of my school's Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honors Society) and I am the Silver Knight Nominee in Mathematics. Next year I will begin studying Math and Physics at Johns Hopkins University.

As you can see, I am a viable student and tutor looking to save money to pay for college.

Algebra 1

I use principles from algebra I daily in order to do calculus.

Algebra 2

I use principles from Algebra II daily in order to do calculus and physics. I received the highest score on my Algebra II final and earned an A in the course.

Calculus

I love calculus. Calculus is not a math, it's a language. I score highest in my class on calculus exams and assist my peers.

Chemistry

Chemistry is a fascinating subject. I like to imagine everything in chemistry is a result of forces between particles. From there, everything else is an extrapolation.

Geometry

Geometry to me is the fun type of math. Math puzzles are geometric and geometry has potential to be extremely difficult, but once I am confronted with an interesting puzzle, it is in my nature to persist.

Physics

Physics is my intended major. I am deeply fascinated by the effects of gravity, electromagnetism, and strong and weak nuclear forces - the 4 fundamental forces of nature.

Prealgebra

I took this course in 6th grade and use the principles I learned on a daily basis. Additionally, I am a math major at Johns Hopkins University.

Precalculus

I was at the top of my class in precalculus and tutor precalc weekly.
I am president of the Math Honor Society and train students for precalculus competitions.

Psychology

I am currently at the top of my AP Psychology class and am immensely fascinated by the topic. I listened to a semester of MIT psychology lectures given by Professor Wolf.

SAT Math

I received a 760 on my SAT math and demonstrate a working understanding for every question in any review book.

ACT English

On every grammar test I have taken, whether ACT or SAT, I have scored very highly.

ACT Math

My highest score on the ACT was in on the math section where I scored in the 30s.

Physical Science

I am a physics and math major at Johns Hopkins University. I have a passion for natural sciences, which include all of the subjects in the physical science curriculum. I received and A in AP Physics C: Mechanics.
