I have a Masters in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Brown University; I have been teaching and tutoring for over 15 years. I have worked with students of all ages from pre-K to adults. My areas of expertise include self-directed education; English (reading, writing, grammar); Spanish; ESL; Mathematics including Algebra II, Geometry, Sacred Math; Biology; Freedom. The clearest indication of a successful tutoring experience is when a student is articulating and/or demonstrating what he or she is learning. This result is always my goal. I have been teaching and tutoring for many years. With young children, the exploratory approach is most effective as it allows the child to build his or her critical thinking skills. When children are encouraged to be curious, to observe, question, and test what they see, they begin to build the foundation for independent learning. Fostering this innate ability will guide them toward a life-long love of learning.
