I am a University of Miami student majoring in Neuroscience and Political Science on a pre-medical track. I achieved a score of 2300 on the SAT (800 Reading, 720 Math, 790 Writing), placing me in the 95% or higher for each subject. I have since then tutored all 3 SAT subject areas, as well as a wide range of middle and high school courses (history, mathematics, English, the sciences, psychology, etc.). I am also available to tutor college-level introductory biology, inorganic chemistry, and calculus I and II.

I am dedicated to my tutoring and committed to all of the responsibilities that come with it, always seeking to give my best to my students and help them achieve their highest potential. My tutoring methods vary depending on the subject being taught and age of the student, but will always stress true understanding of the material being learned, beyond just a superficial grasp or mere memorization.

My goal is to provide students with knowledge that will not only help them get an A in the course or perform well on the exam, but will also serve as a good foundation for future studies. I have achieved these goals successfully with past students and look forward to doing the same for future students that I tutor.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Spanish

As a native speaker of Spanish, I studied both the language and literature at the college level.
