I have a Master's degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming. I am currently a faculty member at Miami Dade College, having served there for the past 11 years.

I love teaching and have taught computer classes that included introductory computer classes, database and computer repair. There is something so satisfying about a student's joy at "getting it", i.e. understanding and being able to complete work they thought so difficult and hard to comprehend. It makes teaching so rewarding.

Microsoft Excel

I have been teaching MS Excel for over 11 years and am proficient with all versions of the product. My students over the years have ranged from recent high school graduates to grandparents. It has been a gratifying experience working with the varied levels of computer literacy and having them all become comfortable with MS Excel.

Microsoft Word

I have been teaching Microsoft Word for the past 11 years at Miami Dade College. During that time I have continued upgrading my expertise as the software evolved from Word version 1.0 to the current version Word 2010. Helping students with creating flyers, resumes, reports, and mail merged documents are some of the activities I have done with MS Word.

Microsoft Access

Microsoft Access is a relational database management system that is principally used for storing data and retrieving selected portions of that data. I have been teaching database use from dBASE IV through the different versions of Access, and have worked with students aged sixteen through fifty seven.
