First of all, and for the peace of mind of all parents and students, on May 11, 2012 the Miami-Dade Public Schools conducted, AT MY REQUEST, an FBI background check on my person. As a result of this screening, I was CLEARED to work in any of Miami-Dade's Public Schools. This FBI screening is VERY thorough and required BY LAW of the State of Florida for any person who intends to work in any kind of teaching capacity in the public school system in Florida. I have the official letter of this screening results to show to any parent or student at your request.

Our first meeting is always FREE. This way you get a chance to meet me personally and make your final decision with confidence.

I am a BILINGUAL (Spanish/English) teacher/tutor with many years of experience and a superior academic background,(M.S.;M.A.; and B.S. with excellent GPA's). My tutoring style centers on the fact that YOU DESERVE THE BEST EDUCATION POSSIBLE.

My teaching approach is very flexible and ADAPTS TO YOUR NEEDS.

Rather than fill the student with facts you will forget, I will help the student master a skill before moving on to more advanced learning. This ensures the student is truly understanding the content, and developing the skills to learn and solve problems independently.

Spanish

I am fluent in Spanish, it is my native language. I have been involved in teaching-related positions throughout my college and professional experience. I have helped students learn Spanish using a person-to-person private approach tailored to simulate a variety of real life scenarios. This is how we used to learn when we were children, and I have found it to be very effective.

ASVAB

I have personally taken this test a few times and scored OVER 90%. The last time I took the test I scored 99% out of a maximum of 100%. I can help you do the same; it is not that difficult!

Elementary (K-6th)

I've been involved in teaching-related positions throughout my professional life. The K-6 and middle school age groups are particularly appealing to me, because students are very impressionable, interested in learning and open to new concepts.
