Equations and inequalities, Linear Equations and Linear Systems, Trigonometric Functions and Identities, Rational Functions, Polynomials, Sequences and Series, and Matricies are all subjects which I am proficient in and enjoy teaching.
I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and use fundamental concepts of integral and differential calculus regularly. Limits, proper and improper integrals, multivariate calculus, vector calculus, and (some) tensor calculus are subjects in which I have experience and skill. Integration by parts, U-substitution, trigonometric substitutions, and calculus of variations are also subjects with which I am very familiar.

Geometry is an integral component to Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and I use the subject on a daily basis in performing basic job functions. In addition to classical Euclidean geometry, I have some experience with Hyperbolic and Elliptic geometry as well.
In terms of linear algebra, my primary experience comes from working with finite-element packages like NASTRAN and ANSYS FEA as well as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes. The numerical implementation of a system governed by differential equations always takes the form of a vector equation. Linear Algebra is used extensively to manipulate and solve these equations, and thus it is critical to my job function. In addition to on-the-job training, I have taken two linear algebra courses at university.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2008. In terms of MATLAB programming, it is a software package that I have used extensively since graduating for internal code development, control logic over actuators, advanced 3d surface fitting, and numerical simulations. Writing functions and subfunctions is where most of my capabilities lie. I am also able to integrate C/C++ code into MATLAB language.

Physics is by far my favorite and most proficient subject. I scored 5s on both the Classical Mechanics and Electromagnetism AP Physics examinations. The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering branches are at bottom forms of applied science, and so the basics of physics theory becomes second nature to a working professional. I generally have an intuitive feel for physics problems and can explain the fundamentals very well.
I am very good at explaining most math subjects, and Prealgebra is no exception. Factorization, roots, function evaluation, and variable manipulation are all skills which I am proficient at and can usually explain well.

I remember doing well on the math section of the SAT. Numbers and Operations, Algebra and Functions, Geometry, and Data Analysis are skills which I employ regularly and enjoy teaching.
Trigonometry is a basic and fundamental of a working engineer's repertoire and is second nature to me. I am very skilled in this area and can offer assistance to those student having difficulties.
