Born in Brooklyn, NY and living in NY until the age of 7, I learned to speak, read and write English as my first language. Then, I moved to Puerto Rico and learned Spanish while going to college and getting an AAS in Business Administration. During these years I tutored many friends in English for I used my World Book Encyclopedia, in English, to do all my school work and it seems I have been translating as long as I can remember. In 1988 I went to live in Venezuela where I taught English as a second language at the Lochsher-Ebbinghaus Institute and also at the Centro Venezolano-Americano both in Caracas. I have worked as a professional Interpreter since 2003 in the Medical and Legal fields, I've also tutored various Spanish speakers to assist their children with English homework.
