I am college student, sophomore at St. Thomas University. I am particularly skilled in mathematics and writing, but I am open to various other subjects, especially languages. Besides English, I speak, read, and write (Haitian) Creole very well, as well as French. And despite being a slightly less fluent Spanish speaker - though still very decent - I also read it and write it with much ease, and understand Spanish grammar thoroughly, having studied it for years. My multilingual capacities can be proven by my scores of 730/800 in SAT Subject test Spanish and a perfect 800/800 in French, as well as a perfect 5/5 in AP French. Furthermore, I graduated from High School with a 3.77 unweighted GPA.
I wish to tutor students from Elementary school to High School, especially those who are in deep need. I have helped several friends before, many of whom were literally stuck in their education, because they just could not find a way to go through obstacles such as ACT and SAT, or FCAT in public schools. Students I work with always appreciate the fact that I am young, which allows them to connect with me better, be more motivated to show effort, and be more enthusiastic to learn
I would primarily work between Fridays and Sundays, but other days at specific times can also be discussed.
Conscious that my High School achievements don't disregard the fact that I do not have a higher-education degree - even though my academic and teaching abilities have been praised my many - I go below the average and charge $30 per hour.
