I'm from a francophone country. I have my Baccalaureat degree in literature and I have a banking degree from Institut Technique de Banque de Paris. I was an elementary teacher for 7 years in West Africa. My degrees are evaluated by Josef Silny & Associates, Inc. International Education Consultants. I'm awarded the Diploma of Baccalaureate of Secondary Education, Option: A-Philosophy-Letters 4th Option (Diplome de l'Enseignement du second degre) administered by the University of Dakar in Senegal on October 15 1976. This is the equivalent of graduation from a college preparatory program at an accredited high school in the United States. The Diploma of Baccalaureat Option: A- Letters leads to the teaching of french. The Florida Department of Education issued a Statement of Status of Eligibility for a certificate in French grades K-12. My letter of eligibility was issued on September 10, 2010 and is valid until September 10, 2013. It states that I must take and pass the French subject area exam to be eligible for a temporary certificate in this subject.
