In case you want to know my background:
I am currently enrolled at St. George's Medical School with a University of Miami background in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, immunology and microbiology. A strong emphasis was made in molecular genetics research. I also have experience in tutoring and consulting since 2005.
Tutoring packages are available at discounted rates.
I am available weekdays between 8AM and 8PM and weekends from 10AM to 6PM. I offer a variety of services that go beyond what regular tutors offer and we can discuss those in detail as you so desire. Please see below for the most familiar subjects.
I appreciate the time you have taken to review my profile, and look forward to serving you in the near future. Send me an e-mail.
The subjects I am most familiar with includes the following:
biology I and II, chemistry I and II, organic chemistry I and II, cell and molecular biology I and II, biochemistry, genetics, proteins and enzymes, molecular genetics, Spanish, calculus, trigonometry (pre-calculus), grammar, writing, poetry, written French, algebra I and II, statistics, world religions, Christianity, basic sciences, physics I and II (with or without calculus), immunobiology, microbiology, microbial pathogenesis, medical parasitology, medical bioethics, embryology, medical histology, anatomy, physiology, medical nutrition, behavioral science, pathology, pathopysiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and clinical medicine.
I majored in biochemistry and molecular biology. 1 3 credit course on genetics with a 2 credit honors lab. I took a 3 credit 500 level molecular genetics course and i wrote 2 papers on advanced undergraduate research in molecular genetics based on 18 months of research.
My minor in Microbiology required several upper level courses including Virology, Microbial Pathogenesis, Immunobiology, Microbiology. I have tutored small groups and individuals in Microbiology at UM and FIU with great outcomes for those students. I also have researched in microbial genetics and have presented my research during the Florida Branch American Society of Microbiology Symposium.
As a medical student I am required to understand many subjects related to the field of health. I am well-versed in not only the fundamentals of nutrition, such as basic enzymatic reactions shared by all of use, but also how to identify diseases based on malnutrition and what sorts of measures are taken to mitigate damage done by diseases using nutrition. Courses that qualify me to tutor in nutrition include but are not limited to, Medical Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Pathology, and Medical Nutrition.
I have taken organic chemistry I and II with labs at the University of Miami.
Since I began tutoring almost a decade ago, I not only helped students perform better in their courses, but I also helped them develop better habits and identify strategies that make them better students overall. While miracle aren't always possible, it is possible to help people learn how it is that they learn and make them better at it. This requires time, patience and determination, but there's room for improvement in all of us, all that is needed is motivation!

After tons of soul searching I came upon Wesley and in a very desperate call (which he answered immediately) managed to meet him the following day. After about five sessions no ...
