My name is Abigail and I am an Architecture major, with a minor in math, at the University of Miami. I began this 5 year program at UM in 2009 and I realized that, as an architecture student, I must know a range of topics including art, AutoCAD, math, art history, psychology, and physics. As a result of this, I have found that I am able to help many people in a wide range of classes.
I tutored for the athletic department at UM for about 2 years in a range of subjects- mostly in Math, Sign Language, and Psychology. I am conversationally fluent in American Sign Language, and close to fluent in Spanish. I enjoy tutoring very much, and I would like to continue throughout my summers when I am home as well.
Since I know I am only a college student and have no educational degree in any of the fields I can tutor in, I am very willing to answer any questions about why I feel comfortable in tutoring the subjects I have listed. I can assure you that anything I feel I would not be able to explain well (such as physics 101, despite receiving an A in the class) I would not include in my subject list.
