Economics, English, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese as a foreign language, MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint), SQL tutor with strong professional and academic experience, as well as hands-on instruction background and great personality. Having lived in different countries and worked with students with different requirements, I am able to adapt and provide the best possible experience.

Japanese -- I minored in Japanese and attended graduate school in Japan (University of Nagasaki). I have been teaching Japanese private classes for the past ten years, all ages, basic and intermediate levels. Having learned Japanese as a foreign language myself, I know exactly what works and what not, what strategies to memorize characters and improving reading/writing skills work best, and how to adapt to each of my student's goals.

Portuguese -- I Attended college and graduate school in Brazil. I have been teaching Portuguese as a foreign language for the past ten years, all ages, all levels. I am particularly proficient in adapting classes for English and Spanish native speakers, as the learning strategy in each case is completely different.

MS Office, SQL, Basic Computing -- I have been working with IT for the past several years, in addition to teaching private classes and training in a corporate environment. I'm very patient, never underestimate the potential for confusion, and make the best out of each training session.

Economics -- I have a bachelors in economics, a masters in corporate finance, and an unfinished PhD in Information Economics, as well as some research work. I enjoy helping my students understand the basic concepts of economics with real life examples, so that graphs and equations make sense and come to life.

I have been tutoring English as a Foreign Language since college, about 15 years ago, in different countries (Brazil, Spain, Japan, China, and the United States) to students around the world, focusing on all areas needed to achieve competency: grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing skills, oral communication including accent training.

Business

I have many years experience in a multitude of business settings, often in management positions, as well as a financial management masters degree and a variety of coursework in management. I have tutored and coached many MBA students over the years.

Microsoft Access

Extensive experience in Microsoft Access, being able to help students build complete solutions, including complex queries, tables, importing and exporting data, macros and VBA code, among others.

Microsoft Outlook

I have been tutoring Microsoft Outlook for many years in all sorts of different settings, including corporate training. I have experience with all version, understand what features that may not be obvious at first glance are important to review, and have an expert knowledge expertise of this product.

Microsoft Windows

With many years experience tutoring Windows to students of all ages, and training in corporate environments, I'm capable of helping students in their specific needs.
