Algebra 1

Algebra is a building subject. Each lesson builds on what was learned before. If you don't understand one of the foundational steps, you will get lost later on. Kelvin uses multiple techniques to help students understand the basics of Algebra. He has the ability to explain things in a couple different ways so that they make sense to the students.

Geometry

Geometry is a puzzle game. Whether it is the Pythagoream Theorem or parallel lines or angles, each problem gives you enough clues to find the answer - you just need to know the tricks to unlock the puzzle. Kelvin has a unique ability to help students see the clues, learn the tricks and succeed in Geometry. He uses a number of different techniques and can explain the concepts a couple different ways, so that students understand and learn quickly.

Prealgebra

Pre-Algebra is a subject that builds on itself. Each lesson uses what was learned before. If you don't understand one of the foundational steps, you will get lost later on. Kelvin uses multiple techniques to help students understand the basics and does a thorough review so those building blocks stay fresh.
