I've been an elementary education teacher for 25 years and love my profession. For the last 12 years, I worked as a fourth grade teacher in a local private school. This year, I'm homeschooling a former student who is preparing for the Olympics. I've tutored for the last 10 years and love working one on one with my students. It gives me enormous pleasure to watch them blossom in all areas of their development. I have had vast experience in all subject areas and have tutored 1st through 5th grade. I perceive myself as a very patient, flexible, kind, and loving person who is also very conscientious. I'm committed to my work and take it very seriously. I give my students individualized attention and differentiate instruction to suit their needs. I enjoy helping a child no matter where they are and my philosophy is that everyone can be successful.
